De acuerdo con la programación prevista de nuestro grupo de trabajo, en el aula de la ESA nivel II, en las enseñanzas de adultos, este trimestre hemos estado trabajando  con un proyecto sobre el lenguaje periodístico, la organización de un periódico y los diferentes tipos de artículos periodísticos que hay. También hemos comparado periódicos ingleses y españoles. El proyecto ha culminado con unas cartas al periódico de nuestro centro que serán publicadas. Asímismo, hemos aprovechado la ocasión para usar una aplicación que fue enseñada durante el curso de idiomas este pasado verano: www.fodey.com, en la que el alumno puede escribir su artículo y luego generar un modelo de periódico con dicho artículo. Con esto se ha intentado incluir también el uso del ordenador en el aula.

LETTERS FROM THE ESA

Hi,

I'm Carmen, a 32-year-old girl from Herrera. Last year I resolved to get my Secondary Education certificate.

 I thought it was going to be a tough task after so many years without studying, but when I went to this high school to ask for information about the ESA, they gave me many possibilities to do it. The course lasts two years but the truth is that it is quite easy if you invest a little of your time.

I thought that I was not going to be able to combine work and school, but as it is a blended learning, I decided to try. The classes are twice a week for four hours each day, and homework is done through the Internet on a digital platform. Besides, the exams are taken in class and the teachers are very good and nice. They help you in everything you may need. Last year (2015-2016), I got really good marks and this year (2016-2017), it is a bit more difficult but teachers help you a lot. If everything goes well, we will graduate in June.

The truth is that I am excited because It has been a long time since I studied.

Finally, I want to encourage to all those people who don¿t have time but want to have the Secondary certificate. Come on!! We can do it!!
